Eddy Coyote's Blog

September 15, 2025

Well, it's been awhile.

I just had a lot going on for the last couple weeks. It happens.

About this site though, I think I'm going to add a section with some smaller writings I do on the side. I write about internet things mostly but I think someone would find it interesting. I have a series I wrote that was intended to be video content called Eddy's Deepdive but I just can never seem to find the time to record or edit. So I think I'll just settle on the written version, which I think is great on it's own.

I don't want this to turn into a blog where we talk about current events or awful things. I would like this to be a place to get away from things like thing. That being said, I feel I have to mention the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk.

To start, I have been aware of Mr. Kirk for years but never seeked out his content. I would see him featured in a panel, interview, speech, etc. That was really about it.

Over the past few days, I've seen the outpour of people who really cared about him and his content has really been amazing. Just today I saw the vigils that have popped up dedicated to him. There must've been something special about the guy to have so many people show so much love.

I wish for Charlie Kirk's family to have the strength needed to heal in his awful time.

For Charlie, this entry's song is God Bless the U.S.A. by Lee Greenwood. Which I think he would appreciate.

Sorry for being gone for so long. There were several reasons.

One of them cannot be discussed here as it happened in my personal life

The second was the death of KingCobraJFS aka Josh Saunders, which we can discuss. I had been an avid viewer of Cobes for many years. I started following his story around 2015-2016 due to a friend linking me the documentary, Gothic King Cobra. From then on, I was a fan.

He was a strange fellow, but a good fellow. His heart always seemed like it was in the right place. He always did things his own unique way, which made him so interesting. Even when things went horribly wrong, like the infamous hair dye incident, you found yourself laughing WITH him and not at him. That is a special gift.

I know a lot of people labeled him a "lolcow" and put him in the same league as people like Foodie Beauty, DSPGaming, etc. But I really don't see that as the case. Lolcows typically use and mistreat others around them and even go as far as manipulating their audience.

Josh was never like that. Over the years he had made a lot of IRL friends as well as online ones. All of which seem to have nothing bad to say about him. He also went out of his way to help them out whenever he could.

Usually the trolls outweigh the fans with a lolcow. Obviously Cobes had his fair share of trolls, but I think his actual fan numbers were much greater.

The last few years I found hard to watch. While he was noticeably a drinker beforehand, it really started to ramp up in that time. I really hoped that one day he would kick the habit. That didn't happen though.

While his cause of death has not been confirmed, this was likely the cause of his downfall.

We didn't know each other, but I feel like I lost a friend. The world is not the same without you. I've thought about you a lot these past few days. I bet wherever you are, you're having a great time. Tell Ozzy hi for me.

Well I tried to put something new on the site but I realized it's going to take a bit longer. So be on the look out for it. Probably this week.

I'm not really a fan of clothes shopping but I decided to grab some pants, mostly because I needed pants. Not that my current pants situation was dire, it was just time for some new pants and the price was right.

That's really about it. Have a good day.

Boy today was busy. It was once again a "not working on website" day but what can you do.

I will try to add some more games to my game recommends soon. It would be nice to have a movie reccomends section but I don't want to get too carried away so early. For now I'll beef up the game section and introduce the movies later.

Not much more to report for today. Hope all of you had a great day.

Well didn't have much time to work on the site today so no changes to report.

I have been spending some time on wplace.live. It's a site that is an entire map of the world and everyone is given the ability to draw on it one pixel at a time. There are some seriously good artists out there when it comes to this stuff. Some people work on massive works while others specialize in smaller pieces. I absolutely love when artwork is referencing something regional. For instance, in Texas you see a lot of Buc-ees artwork. They also really have no rules on artwork except they ask you don't cover other people's art with your own. If you're reading this, check it out. You can view the art even without signing up or creating anything. Most of the fun is seeing what other people decide to do.

Anyway, that's all for today guys. Have a great day!

The site has continued to grow. I added a prank call section and opened my creator recommendations page. The creators list is small but I will add more as time goes on.

I added several more game recommends so you can check those out if you'd like. I'm going to try to keep them to more obscure titles. There is only so many times someone can praise a game like Super Mario World. The game is great, we all know it. But every once in awhile I'll throw in a mainstream game.

I will also be adding a page for my new book, The Girl from Texas City, today

Speaking of which, I'm thinking that the cover will replace the YouTube playlist on my homepage for now. And when the book comes out on October 8th, and order now button will appear below it.

At some point I will add a new section for another book I am currently working on. I may even release the first chapter of it to see how people like it. We shall see.

I'm sure you now notice I added a "currently playing" below my posts. I am unsure if this will completely replace the spotify playlist. For now the playlist remains. We shall see.

Eventually I will start blogging about retro tech, which is a passion of mine. I love old computers, consoles, etc.

If you're reading this, have a great day.

It's another day working on the site. I've added a Game Recommends page so I can endlessly talk about games that no one cares about. Still working on a Creator Recommends page. I will also be adding a section about my new book so people can get a feel for it. I did add a playlist featuring my prank calls and a spotify list on my current listens. I don't know how long those will last however. I really just wanted to see if you could do it.

The prank calls will most likely find a home in their own section, which will probably end or repurpose the youtube playlist on the left.

I do like Spotify list being there, feels old school in a weird way. Though it only plays previews of the songs. I have some ideas moving forward with that. I've seen some sites that auto play music. That might be a way to go, again old school vibes. However, I don't think most would appreciate a song blasting through their speakers. It would have to be something subtle if that were the case. We shall see. Don't worry, I won't hit you with Slayer - Raining Blood one day or something.

I have a ton of ideas for the site. However, I will hold back a bit right now. I don't know what will and will not make it.

I am enjoying my time on here. Personally, it's comforting just working on the site day by day. I love looking at other people's sites too. There is some amazingly creative people out there. Everyone seems to be doing something different and its a surprise every time you click on a site. It's also pleasant to the eyes to not see the same old layout on sites I frequent (YouTube, Google, etc.).

Well made myself some egg whites and bacon. I'm going to enjoy it, while I work.

2nd day at this website. I want to dedicate a page to creators I follow. It will probably be best if I categorize them—for instance, all the retro YouTubers I follow in one list. I think that may be fun and help me at the same time.

YouTube as a platform is really great, but their recommended page is getting harder and harder to show things I’m subscribed to.

Also, if you have an Android phone, I highly recommend the app Grayjay. You can subscribe and have one feed for content across the internet including YouTube, Kick, Spotify, Rumble, Apple Podcasts, etc. Now you don’t have to go to several different apps for your content.

The site is starting to get a bit of a look to it. Still not anything crazy but it's getting there.

RIP Terry Davis. I haven't used HTML in like 20 years (not that I knew that much in the first place). Now let's see how one does this and all the ways I can mess up, screw up, and code things that will never work.

But that's okay.

Hi! If you're here—thank you for checking out my humble website.

I am a writer on the verge of releasing my very first book, The Girl from Texas City. I will have to create a page for it so people can learn about it and my other writing projects. They will all be available through Amazon.

Other than that, I love following stories told on the internet and prank calls. You can find my own prank calls on my website.
